Whitebark Institute’s “Ignite Awareness Not Wildfires” campaign aims to promote understanding of regionally specific wildfire threats and ways that visitors and community members can do their part to prevent accidental ignitions. The four sub campaigns—Ignite Awareness, Ignite Adventure, Ignite Connection, and Ignite Respect—originally launched in spring 2025 supported by a grant from CalFire.
