ABOUT

Welcome to our resource page for organizations in California’s Eastern Sierra that are interested in promoting coordinated sustainable recreation messaging to our visitor audience.

About the Eastern Sierra’s “Visitor Connection Program”

From 2019-21, the “Visitor Connection Working Group” was assembled, representing the thought leadership of 28 organizations with expertise engaging the region’s visitor audience. Over a 14-month period, this group worked to develop the “Visitor Connection Package - A Framework for the Development and Implementation of a Regional Voice for Sustainable Recreation in the Eastern Sierra.”

The recommended program includes an action plan for a regional messaging effort. One of the first components of this plan was to create a platform where consistent and coordinated messaging would be available to all members.

This website is the beginning of that resource - a library providing turnkey sustainable recreation content to Eastern Sierra organizations.
